Sorry to hear that, I went through the same thing recently.
At least they had the professionalism to call you. I had 2 positions where I went in for an interview and even after sending thank you letters and follow up emails they didn’t have the class to tell me I didn’t get the job.

Yeah, that’s the worst. I hated when I’d never hear back. It’d be better if they just let you know.
Funny thing was, after I eventually got a job I received emails MONTHS (like 8+) after applying for others letting me know I didn’t get it. lol

Sorry dude. I’m exactly in your same boat now and for the last 4 months. Even work positions that seems perfect for you goes *poof* on front of your eyes. It’s frustrating.

Well, once you recover, get back at it.
Last job I applied for, I felt that I did really well and got far in the process; then I didn’t hear anything for over a month and I found out that others got the job just from office rumours. They only called me to tell me I didn’t get it after I already knew, and I found that absolutely infuriating. Not that I didn’t get the job, but that I found out by myself.
I wish many bad things upon that hiring manager. What a fuck.
